Some people are really afraid of scary movies. I mean, (shrug) everyone's afraid of scary movies to some degree, but some people are so afraid they just choose not to watch them. I happen to dig scary movies. I can't say that scary movies are my all-time favorite kind of movie, but I do enjoy watching them.

I've discovered that different people are scared by different things. Some people are completely ok with the idea of spirits and ghosts, but cringe at the idea of watching an ax murdered lop off someone's arm. Some people don't like things jumping out at them. Others don't like the idea of the unknown. It's just different for everyone. Over the years, I've definitely figured out what scares me.

For me, tonight, 'thriller' scary is what hit my scared button. I don't think I've had the crap scared out of me as badly as I did tonight in a really long time. Holy crap, Saw was really scary.

It definitely gets a Mr. Burns 'excellent'


Oh, if you happen to drive past my apartment really late at night during the next few evenings, you'll probably notice that every single light is on . . . don't worry, everything's cool, I just have to eliminate all shadows and dark corners from my apartment for a little while . . . : P
