f**k cancer
This weekend I was part of something big. The Susan G. Koman 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk was bigger and more amazing than I ever expected it to be and I couldn't be more proud to say I was a part of it. I was one of 4,200 women and men who walked 60 miles through the streets of San Diego. Collectively we raised $10.3 million for cancer research, care, and education.
There were so many factors that made this weekend amazing, it's hard to find the words to describe it. I can honestly say it was probably one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Everything from the feat of walking 60 miles, to the loved ones who supported me, to the friends and family who donated, to the walkers I met along the way, to the people who cheered us on, to the volunteers who supported us, to the reasons why I was walking . . . it was inspirational, emotional, tiring, uniting, and amazing.
"We walk because we believe. We believe in a world without cancer."
These are my photos, here is the Union Tribune article, and this is the story Fox News wrote about Jason and Rachel.
