Coup d'etat
Last year FM94.9 did this cool thing called Coup d'etat Weekend. I have no idea what Coup d'etat stands for exactly, but basically they let the listeners take over the radio station. Every hour for the entire weekend a listener got to come in and play 10 songs of their choice. It was an entire weekend of songs you wouldn't normally hear played on the radio. I thought it was pretty much the coolest thing ever and I spent the entire time thinking 'I wish I would have submitted 10 songs'.
So, when I discovered they were doing another Coup d'etat Weekend, I was stoked. I started working on my list of 10 songs right away. It was pretty much impossible for me to narrow my list down to 10 especially since I started out with about 25. After much debate though, I came up with my 10. It broke my heart that some of my favorite songs didn't make the list, but every song that made it has a reason for being there.
Who knows if my list will get picked, but it was still fun to come up with 10 songs:
1. Bad Religion - Kyoto Now
2. Lagwagon - Violins
3. Jawbreaker - Boxcar
4. NOFX - Bottles to the Ground
5. Bouncing Souls - Sing Along Forever
6. Rancid - Roots Radicals
7. The Cure - Mint Car
8. Dropkick Murpys - The Gauntlet
9. Face to Face - You've Done Nothing
10. Blink182 - Carousel

I think it's too late to retract my list . . . sorry Brandy. If I do get picked though, I'll see what I can do about squeezin' her in! : P
