mmmm . . .

If you work in Irvine and want to leave your office for lunch, but aren’t interested in a nicer sit down lunch, you’re somewhat out of luck. The food around here is scarce, sub par, and suuuuuuper crowded.

Today, I decided to take a stand. No longer was I going to put up with the lines and sup par madness.

Today I made a journey 3 exits north on the I-5 freway, a trip which took 25 mins in total, to a little restaurant I like to call Chipotle. There I picked up my tinfoil wrapped goodness – an online ordered carnitas burrito - which I directly brought back to my cube and completely devoured. (I rarely finish a whole chipotle burrito in one sitting.)

. . . the trip to me was somewhat reminiscent of the days when I lived in Arizona and we drove entirely too far for an In-n-Out burger . . .

Was it worth it? Every minute, mile, and penny of it!

Will I do it again? You bet your butt I will!
