Friday night we planned on attending the Padres/D'backs game. However, the only seats left by the time we tried to purchase tickets were stupid overpriced restricted view seats. Rather than let that get us down, I think we pretty much proved that you don't actually have to be sitting inside the ballpark to have fun at a Padres game.
