After hearing about the office holiday decorating contest and seeing how crazy into it people were getting, my department decided against participating. However, after much resistance my boss decided that it looked poorly on our department to stay out of the contest. So the afternoon before the judging she turned to my coworker and I to come up with something brilliant during the last minute. Knowing that we wouldn't win with such little time (I'm not joking you when I say people went crazy) we decided to do something simple, cute, and fun (aka not spend days and days wrapping our entire department - phones, chairs, cubes, cabinents, books, boxes, ect - with holiday wrapping paper). So my coworker and I opted to purchase the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree from Urban Outfitters and went to town drawing the full sized Peanuts characters. Although, we didn't win the contest I'm pretty proud of our little Charlie Brown Christmas scene. : )
